KimchiKeto ("we", "our", "us") operates this website to provide diet-adapted Asian recipes. This policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and your rights over it.

2. Information we collect

  • Email address β€” only when you voluntarily subscribe to our newsletter.
  • Usage data β€” page views, referring URL, device type, approximate location (country level), browser language. Collected automatically via Google Analytics and/or server logs.
  • Cookies & local storage β€” see Section 5 below.

We do not collect names, phone numbers, payment information, or precise location (GPS). We do not knowingly collect data from users under 13.

3. How we use information

  • Deliver and improve our recipe content.
  • Send newsletter emails you have opted into (unsubscribe anytime).
  • Measure aggregate traffic patterns to understand which recipes are useful.
  • Display relevant advertising (see Section 4).
  • Comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell your personal information. We do not share your email with third parties for their marketing.

This site is monetized in part by Google AdSense, a third-party advertising network.

Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained for 14 months. Server logs are kept for 30 days.

Depending on where you live (GDPR, CCPA, PIPEDA, PIPA-KR), you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you.
  • Request correction or deletion.
  • Object to processing or withdraw consent.
  • Lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
