About KimchiKeto
KimchiKeto is a free database of authentic Asian recipes, pre-adapted for every common dietary restriction.
The problem we solve
If you follow keto, vegan, gluten-free, paleo, or any other diet, you know the struggle: Asian recipes online rarely account for your restrictions. You either spend an hour translating a recipe yourself, hoping the substitutions don't ruin the flavor, or you give up and eat something else.
We do that translation work in advance. For every dish in our database, we publish a version that follows your diet's rules β and we're honest about when a substitution noticeably changes the taste, so you can make an informed choice.
What's here
- 177 dishes across 11 Asian cuisines (Korean, Japanese, Chinese, Thai, Vietnamese, Indian and more).
- 8 diets β Keto, Vegan, Paleo, Gluten-Free, Low-Sodium, Diabetic-Friendly, Pescatarian, and Dairy-Free.
- 51 reviewed recipe pages are currently published. We only expose recipe URLs after a complete draft has been saved, checked for diet conflicts, and given enough supporting detail to be useful on its own.
How our recipes are created
Each recipe is drafted by a large language model with a detailed system prompt describing:
- The cultural soul of the original dish (no Westernizing the flavor).
- The strict rules of the target diet.
- Known authentic ingredients and their diet-safe substitutes with ratios.
- Food-blog writing conventions and Google Recipe schema compliance.
Generated recipes pass an automated validation layer (required fields, ingredient and step count minimums, nutrition structure, diet conflict checks, and generic-text checks) before publishing. Recipe pages also include serving ideas, troubleshooting, storage notes, and editorial review notes when available.
Important: AI-generated nutrition values are estimates. For precise macros β especially if you have a medical condition β verify with a tool like Cronometer or a registered dietitian. See our Terms of Service for our full disclaimer.
How we stay free
KimchiKeto is free because it is supported by:
- Display ads served through Google AdSense.
- Affiliate links to Amazon. If you buy an ingredient through our link, Amazon pays us a small commission at no cost to you. This does not influence which ingredients we recommend.
Full details in our Privacy Policy. During AdSense review, affiliate links may be disabled so the site can be evaluated on the strength of its recipe content first.

Editorial policy
We publish honest substitution notes even when they hurt the recipe's appeal, because readers deserve to know. We do not accept paid product placement inside recipes. Affiliate links are limited to genuine ingredient retailers and are disclosed on every page. Read the full editorial policy.
